Railcar service arrives at Patten Mines Railroad.

On a recent trip to Colorado, the grandson of the owner of the railroad was impressed with the Galloping Geese railcars operating on the Rio Grande Southern.  Upon their return to Alaska, the grandfather had the maintenance shops convert his old 1923 Model T Sedan into Patten Mines Railroad's own version of the Galloping Goose.

The On30 Goose was constructed using an ERTL 1923 Ford Sedan. The undercarriage for the Ford was made by cutting down a Bachmann HO scale bobber caboose frame. Power comes from an HO diesel which is under the scratchbuilt van body. Decals were custom made using Microsoft Word. The artwork was then printed onto blank decal paper using my computer's printer.
